My 7 Biggest Breakup Tips
When I was 23, I found myself in my hotel room in NYC, crying so hard into my pillow that it was turning into a scream and that scream turned into a hyperventilating kind of cry that I couldn't quite stop. It was all because my boyfriend of a year and a half had ended our relationship with a text message a few hours before. I had tried to keep my composure when I got the text, figuring it was not real or just a usual fight that we'd settle. Something harsh, cold, and too extreme that he would take back. But, it wasn't. And he was serious. I'll never forget the way I typed: Are you breaking up with me? And all he wrote was: Yes. We just are on different paths. So simple, yet who would know that it would make my 23rd year the most difficult year of my life.

The Truth About Long Distance Relationships
In this day and age, it's hard and almost a bit ridiculous to believe that everyone's "soulmate" would live just a few miles away. The world is a huge place, flooded with so many kinds of people who you have yet to meet but one way to do that is through the internet! With various forms of social media, including dating apps, you can come across people who may live across the state, country, or even world! You may just meet someone and fall in love. Although, when it comes to the distance, what is there to do? Now, as someone who has been in a long distance relationship, it is hard and there is nothing that will change that fact. However, there are things you can to do that ease the heartache of being away from the person you love most and make it work!

Why Emotional Intimacy Is So Important in Any Relationship
As sex gets easier to find, real love gets harder to find. Our current swipe happy culture has made finding a true connection with another human being akin to finding a needle in a haystack. Although it may seem impossible, I encourage you to never give up! Stick with this process until you do find that special someone. It is, after all, totally worth the wait.

What Can I Do?
I'll start from the very beginning; I had just gotten out of one abusive relationship, only to go into a very short-lived one with a man who didn't actually want to be with me like he had said. So I went on vacation with my family, and not even a few days later of coming back from California I got a match on Tinder. And I'd only just started using Tinder, it wasn't really something I was super into. And if I hadn't found a guy that I liked soon, I was going to delete the app and just assume I was going to be alone forever.

How To Deal with Bromancers
As I write these words, the dating world gets more confusing by the minute. At times I myself think about throwing in the towel, but then I remember that that goes against everything I believe about love. It’s simple: Whether you think you can, or think you can’t, either way, you are right. This mindset is especially important when it comes to finding love.

How NOT to Communicate
We all have times where we just don't see eye to eye with someone. And no, I'm not talking literally; I'm talking about communicating. Have you ever been in an argument and wish you hadn't said something? Or have you been hurt by something someone said, or didn't say? Well, these are examples of times when you're not properly communicating and probably should adjust your methods. Trust me it's better for everyone if you just avoid doing these things while communicating.

Why Cushioning May Be a Good Thing
For those of you who have been religiously reading my column for the past three years (thank you!), you may have noticed my cynical turn for the worst. Even us so called dating “experts” are pained to see the slow strangulation and subsequent death of real romance and old school courtship. It leaves me scratching my head and wondering what’s going on with the world these days.

What to Do When You Realize You and Your Partner Have Chemistry
Chemistry is defined as a strong attraction between two people. But when asked to explain the how and why of sexual attraction, many are left scratching their heads. One thing I know for sure is that sexual chemistry is based on more than looks alone. That’s just one tiny part of the equation. There’s also the way the other person smells. The two of you could have a spiritual connection, possibly from living past lives together. Also, attraction is very strong when two people have karmic patterns that need to be worked out (or these patterns will keep repeating). I truly believe that two people are drawn together in order to fulfill a special purpose, learn lessons about themselves or about life, or to figure out what it is they desire in a mate.
