The Witches Revenge
Part 1 Duke Thomas and Duchess Lillian Hardings were married on August 16th 1525, being promised since birth, when they were both just 14 years of age. During their marriage they had 18 children, Edward March 12th 1526, Elizabeth and Everly February 2nd 1527, Ethan and Emmanuel January 13th 1529, Elodie and Eden August 9th 1530, Elijah and Edgar July 30th 1531, Ella-Rose April 21st 1533, Evan June 18th 1535, Esmerelda and Eva September 8th 1536, Essylt November 10th 1538, Emeline May 25th 1540, Elliott and Everett December 1st 1542 and Ezra October 14th 1543. Surprisingly, despite the times of disease, all 18 children survived childhood, they had strong genes, incredible wealth and were very healthy.

Strange, Weird but True!
It was early spring in the year of our lord 1999. LOL sorry I just love that intro! This experience happened some time ago. I was on assignment for the military in South Korea. It was a Friday like all other Fridays. PT in the morning or "physical training" for you civilians. A quick 3 mile run some calisthenics and hit the showers to make it to chow before heading out to the worksite.

Johnny Angel
The sign, enormous and neon and broken, displayed the name of the Diner proudly: EDGAR O'MAHONY'S DINER. And what an atrocious mouthful. It could have just been Mel’s for fuck’s sake. The place snapped back at my derision in bright yellow letters: JUKE, BURGERS, MALTEDS on a sign posted in the window.

Joystick Demon
I have always been a sucker for a wink and a smile... add to them THE three magic words, and I quite quickly become a hopeless cause. Her name was Lily, and I was 19. “If I knew then what I know now” is what every coffee sipping old timer that sits at my counter says, daily. After tonight though, I doubt I’ll ever reach a stage of grey that gives me the right to quote it. You see, Lily dared me. Those three damned magical words... “I dare you,” winking and smiling. So potently powerful, they make me, for all of the un-apologies of the word, incorrigible!

Tater Time
Tater Town Cast aside the shadows and the doubts of where they are going and where they had been, the fistful of weary travelers stumbled into “Tater town Café and all you can eat Potato bar and diner” at a little bit before midnight to ease their achy bones. Weary from the road, the travelers were halfway home, a long lonely drive across the plain states with a stop here in Carson, Nevada. Unbeknownst to them, they were in for the night of their lives!

Grimoire
Through the pouring rain, I watched as a man exited a taxi and enter the diner in which I was sitting. I looked up from my newspaper in the early morning hours for the man's uncomfortable disposition caught my eye. He was well dressed, of average height and build, but there was something about him that made me uneasy. His average stature was cloaked in a long duster and a dark red shirt with black slacks, all drenched from the rain. He carried with him only a small notebook that seemed to be bound in crude leather. As I felt myself beginning to stare, our eyes met and I quickly diverted my gaze back to my newspaper.

With Every Bite
He has probably walked by this place a hundred times or more and never stopped in to eat. Today, however, his stomach is beyond hungry and he needs to refuel. The diner is bright, with a black and white checkered floor, red vinyl booths and bar stools, crisp, white tables and countertop and the jukebox is playing a Buddy Holly melody. He feels like he's stepped into a Norman Rockwell painting. The woman behind the counter looks up, a huge smile lights her face as she welcomes the new arrival and invites him to choose his own seat. Feeling chatty, he opts for the counter and Candy, of course, her name is Candy, brings him a menu. Her giant red hair is motionless as she walks, and he notices her fingers nails are the same colour and also match her lipstick.
