My Favorite Rankin-Bass SatAM Cartoons
We all know Rankin-Bass as the animation company resposnible for the holiday specials RUDOLPH THE RED-NOSED REINDEER, FROSTY THE SNOWMAN and SANTA CLAUS IS COMING TO TOWN, among others. But they also produced some of the most fun Satuday morning cartoons on ABC. Here are my two favorites:

Top 10 Cartoon Characters I Would Smash
The cartoons I watched as a child were a very important part of my development into who I am today. They helped form my sense of humor, my appreciation for diverse storylines, and most importantly, what type of people I ended up feeling attracted to. Of course, you can just reflect certain fictional characters and I'll find myself falling head over heels for you, but you can also just obsess over these characters with me and I'll still slowly find love for you.

7 80s Female Cartoon Characters that ‘Stranger Things’ Heroine Eleven Would Love
Everything 80s is awesome again, thanks to the Netflix smash hit Stranger Things. The series is loaded with pop culture references from the era of New Coke and mall rats, but it’s seriously lacking in homages to beloved 80s cartoons. During Season 3, all viewers got was Dustin coming out as a Brony long before it was a thing by explaining to Erica that she’s a nerd just like him for loving My Little Pony. The only animation that viewers actually saw came in the form of the old Woody Woodpecker cartoons that Slurpee-obsessed Soviet scientist Alexei, aka “Smirnoff,” found so hilarious.

It's called 'Jailbirds', and it has caused quite the controversial debate on what is ethical. The women who agreed to this show were very bored, and I'm sure being interviewed gave them quite the opportunity to feel like they are being listened to. Was it wrong to take advantage of women in jail in order to make new entertainment? Or was this a good opportunity to give a voice to people being incarcerated?
