Fear Street: Prom Queen (2025), Director: Matt Palmer Fear Street: Prom Queen is one of the most generic, slow, and unrealistic slasher films. This felt more like a Goosebumps anthology than a new addition to the Fear Street franchise. The characters are uninteresting, led by dialogue that sounds nothing like how teenagers talk. Matt Palmer has no buildup in the tension or dynamics. You’re telling me that prom night doesn’t come to an immediate halt when a student’s disembodied head is found in the punch bowl? Other than some of the kills, Fear Street: Prom Queen is uninteresting. It doesn’t do anything different from the usual slasher films.

Lilo & Stitch Review, Best Live-Action Remake Yet
Although Lilo & Stitch doesn't prove to be entirely required, it does set itself apart from the original. It starts off as a near shot-for-shot recreation before quickly developing into a more sophisticated approach to its themes. With Sydney Agudong as Nani, Maia Kealoha as Lilo, and Chris Sanders reprising his role as Stitch's voice, this new adaptation of the beloved Disney film is the kind of summertime adventure that both adults and children will love. Lilo & Stitch will be one of the summer's biggest hits since it has changed enough that the plot is distinct yet still identifiable.

A entertaining but predictable (and ultimately underwhelming) episode of Poker Face features Charlie Cale facing off against a former small-town baseball pitcher who possesses a lethal fastball. "Hometown Hero," the fifth episode of Poker Face season 2, is the season's first significant disappointment. Although there are some funny moments and some amazing guest stars in this episode, it doesn't live up to the high bar the series has set for itself.
