Christmas Day
Happy Christmas Day and all the smiles that this day brings to those around. The excitement of Christmas Eve has passed and the child in you awakes, and you head on down the stairs, and usually you head to the kitchen for coffee or whatever, but this day you head straight for the living room and all the glory that is there. You stare at the tree and the presents galore, but you do not think of the expense, but the happiness and joy that all these gifts will bring to all those around you on this glorious Christmas Day.

Christmas Eve
On a particular Christmas Eve what would you expect to find? Everyone knows about laying out cookies and milk for Santa and some even lay out carrots for his reindeer, but what else could be around on Christmas Eve that isn't there during the rest of the year supposedly. During Christmas Eve if one looks really close one can see even though it is not physical for one can feel a sense of happiness, love, hope, charity and joy and maybe even empathy for others around them. Christmas Eve is the time that seems to bring more of these ideas.

La Migra
To first see the U.S.-Tijuana border is somewhat akin to stepping into the pages of Dante’s Inferno. It is a hellscape, a sort of desolate and eerie substratum between the third-world purgatory below and the city of angels above. Silver-tipped cholla cacti loom everywhere, ready to insert their fanged tubercles into any flesh that brushes past. Barrel cacti also lurk underfoot, and their steel ribs and fierce spines will slice right through a combat boot to skewer a whole foot. The night air is ripe and wretched; Mexican tire fires and wild anise ferment in the damp briny ocean air. The landing strip that separates the countries stands ready to snag a ringed finger and strip it to the bone, or take fingers off hands entirely. By day, it’s an open-air tacos-and-tennies for sale fiesta; by night, it’s an Olympic sprint, from the fence to the pavement, where shadowy groups that can number over 100, drop as silently as goats into the canyons beyond the highway, out of the reach of the border patrol, into waiting taxies, bound for Los Angeles, Denver, New York, and back again to la patria.

Blue Christmas
Blue feelings abound for when you feel like your family and even some friends do not really want you around. How would this make you feel? There is a Christmas special called 'The Year Without a Santa Claus' and somewhere in the middle of this cartoon a little girl is coloring a blue house with a blue Christmas tree, and she is singing 'Blue Christmas'. When I feel blue at this time of year, I think that I am not really alone and it kind of makes me feel a little better hearing this song, bet that sounds strange doesn't it, but it works most of the time.

Blue Christmas
What is a Blue Christmas? A Blue Christmas is when to me people are feeling low and feeling left out. You kind of get used to the feeling of being left out, but when they try to include you, you can tell that their heart is really not for it shows on them when they are not really looking and talking to you but looking around for something or someone. You graciously say, "Go ahead over there I don't mind."

Heads
This is a collection of animal heads of owls, bears and wolves. I stayed natural for black for the bears, gray for the wolves and brown for the owls. I used crayon for the heads and a light blue colored pencil for the while space. Always share your opinions for I would greatly appreciate them.

Flowers
In this color art I assumed these designs were some form of flowers so I used crayons of orange, shades of blue and purples, and a few green. I used dark blue for the flower with the dark spots to offset the lighter 'flowers' to give a balance. Some of the flowers I used a light red in between some orange. Do you think I did the right thing, and I know that art is subjective not objective. Please share your thoughts.

Geometric Flowers Design
In this color art that I entitled 'Geometric Flower Design' I mainly used colored pencils of blues, greens, reds, and oranges. I varied the colors from the center one and copied and varied the colors in the little ones around the edges. I used light blue colored pencil to fill in the white space even though to me it looked fine left white. Please comment for it will be truly appreciated.
