On Sept.5, 2o25, Trump hosted a White House dinner for techbros to talk about innovation, AI, bringing the tech jobs to the US, and all the other good things. The Wall Street Journal published this short version of them "toasting" Trump but there's a longer version of the dinner conversation covered by PBS (Trump, give them back their funding, otherwise I wouldn't have known what you were talking about at the dinner!):

TACO Calling PACO - 3
This conversation happened on September 3, 2025, after Trump watched clips from the military parade President Xi of China threw on the Tiananmen Square (!!!) to celebrate the end of WW2. The parade was attended by Putin, Kim Jon Un and other heads of states who'd gathered for the Shanghai Cooperation Organization's summit in Tianjin, China (Aug.31-Sept.1). Many experts see the summit as China's attempt to redefine the global relationships toward a multi-polar world with many centers of power and influence, and the parade - as a deliberate showoff of the Chinese military might and advanced military tech and equipment.

Sao Paulo Street Art
I've been meaning to write this story up for the Art Community for a long time and now that I am on the summer break and between the teaching assignments, I would like to present a case study I discuss with my public relations students when we get to government relations and visual culture.

Tbilisi at Night
The other day, I took a long walk along the main street of Tbilisi at night. I walk during the day, too, but mostly just to get to places like museums, shops, and restaurants. It's too hot just to be outside all the time. But at night, when it cools down, the walks are quite pleasant. Lots of people do the same, so you can do people gawking as well. This is my short photo report of the walk.

If Great Dead Writers Were on Facebook - 3. Top Story - August 2025.
I have started these series with the Russian writers and then thought why should I have all the fun alone (thanks to Raymond G. Taylor for the idea to turn this into an unofficial challenge!). So I'm opening it up for others who would like to see if they can bring dead writers into the modernity through their imagined Facebook or other social media posts.

If Great Dead Writers Were on Facebook - 2
In my first story of these series, I've tackled five Russian writers. Since there are a lot more, some of whom might be less known to the English-language readers, I wanted to do another installment. As a reminder, the Facebook art here is generated by MAIK (My AI Kompanion, as I call it) showing off its improved capacities as ChatGPT-5. So, here's some more Russian writers' imaginary posts on Facebook, with an explanatory setup:

If Great Dead Writers Were on Facebook - 1. Top Story - August 2025.
I've had a great (in my humble opinion) idea today: What if the great writers from all over the world before the Internet's time had Facebook accounts? What would they write about? Would they probe or crowdsource ideas for their novels, short stories, and plays? Witness events that could give them food for thoughts and plots? Boast about their new books just published?
