The Young and the Restless: Fans are concerned about Josh Morrow
The Young and the Restless: Another false rumor Lately, it seems that when there are no actual soap spoilers that rumors begin saying popular characters are leaving The Young and the Restless. A few weeks back the Internet was abuzz with the fake news that Melissa Ordway was walking away from her role as Abby Newman. The same unfounded news is being reported about her co-star Joshua Morrow. Nick Newman's current storyline or rather lack thereof has become fodder for those who make it up as they go along.

The Bronze Buckaroo was not African American
When I first heard about The Bronze Buckaroo, the singing black cowboy, I envisioned someone who looked like Sherrif Bart (Clevon Little) from Blazing Saddles. I thought this individual would be a dark brown African American male but I was wrong. At first glance, I was certain that Herbert Jeffrey was white and I thought to myself "You have got to be kidding." This man was not bronze but what people considered to be "high yellow" which is what I have been called many times. The old saying that one drop of black blood deems a person as black was obviously true.

Remarkably Really Me
Soap opera fans are taking notice of the pattern that is emerging with an increasing number of female actors. They will not be on screen for weeks or months but when they return they are brand new. All you have to do is look at past episodes or images of these women online and you can see they have had plastic surgery. With all due respect, it is not appealing to see faces drawn so tight that the soap star can barely open her mouth to say her lines.

Just Cheryl and loving it
I was watching a rerun of an episode of the television series Leave it to Beaver a few weeks back and something one character said has stuck with me. Wally Cleaver (Tony Dow) had been trying to be friendly to a new kid in town. This teen wore dressy clothing and an oversized trench coat. He held hsi head slightly down and Wally told his dad that this boy was the one everybody wanted to stick out their foot and trip.

Croton Bush Plant Can Help You Sleep and more
Croton bush plants: An amazing sight to behold If you desire cleaner air in your home, a good night's sleep and something bright and beautiful to look at you might want to invest in a Croton bush house plant. Many house plants are said to be beneficial in cleansing indoor air and the Croton is one of them. The first time I paid attention to a Croton I was amazed at the rainbow of colors in the bright foliage. I was walking towards a local Kroger store and there were eight or ten of the plants in pots sitting in the front of the doors. They were $19.99 each and I considered purchasing one or two at some point.

Into the night
The date was August 1976 and soul singer James Brown was having a concert on a Sunday night. 17 year old Daniella Michelle Nicoles was in the midst of a crisis. The concert was in the big city 12 miles away and she was stuck in the country with her grandmother for the summer. Daniella had seen James Brown four or five times over the past decade with her mother and brothers. This was the first time she was going without them because she wanted to and it was not to watch the entertainer perform.
