King and Hunter represented the Abbott’s and The Newman’s and had their characters they married and had a child he or she would have been a 4th generation combination of these powerful families. Michael Mealor’s exit leaves a void in the Abbott family and Jack without anyone to run the family business with him.

Nikolas is missing big clues about his son on 'General Hospital'
GENERAL HOSPITAL viewers don't like it when characters miss clues that are right in front of their faces. It is frustrating to see Port Charles residents so oblivious to things that should raise red flags. This is the case with Nikolas and Ava Cassadine who are playing right into the hands of Nik's son Spencer. There have been so many signs that this young man is the stalker but his father and stepmother are so much in love and distraught over the divorce they cannot pay attention to anything except their own feelings.

Happy Harmonies "Bottles" episode is a true classic
Children growing up in the 1950s, 60s, and 70s probably never thought about the origin of the cartoons they enjoyed or how long they had been around. I caught an episode of TOM and JERRY recently on MeTV Saturday morning cartoons. One animated short that came on brought back fond memories for me, It was a Happy Harmony short titled BOTTLES and I was stunned to find out it was created in 1936. It's hard to believe that 2021 year marks 85 years of this classic short.

The Wizard of Oz saga of Dorothy's ruby red slippers
1939 was a very good year It all began with the 1939 film adaptation of L. Frank Baum's 1900 novel "The Wonderful Wizard of Oz". In the book, Dorothy's shoes were silver, but in the movie, the color was changed to red. This was done in order to take advantage of Technicolor which at that time was pretty new. The opening and the ending of the film were in sepia tones which is why it appeared as a brown tint rather than black and white.

Grief 101 Moving is not the same as moving on.
I share my stories based on my personal journey since the death of my husband of 40 years. My experience is not everyone's but there are many widows and widowers who can relate. Today I feel like an empty park bench that needs someone to sit on it to be complete. I am moving and doing and going but definitely not moving on.

Constance Ford: a memorable unique actress
Constance Ford: A force of nature Ford had a face and personality that is hard to forget. She was referred to what was called back in the day as a cool blonde. Ford had a stare that was so ice ice cold and in her various roles she was either extremely vulnerable and taken advantage of or a fierce bitch and ruthless. Sometimes fans would see both sides of the actress in one character.

Widows should be respected and not preyed upon
In the movie THE FIVE HEARTBEATS, the character Big Red (Hawthorne James) attends the funeral of Jimmy Potter ( Chuck Patterson) the man that he had murdered. If that were not bad enough after viewing the body he goes over to Jimmy's grieving widow Eleanor (Diane Carroll) and instead of offering condolences, he propositions her right there in the church. Eleanor is so outraged that she slaps him in the face. This is one of those movie moments that remain in the psyche of many who watched this film.

Angela "Bye Felicia" Means Kaaya
"Bye Felicia" is a line from the 1995 comedy classic FRIDAY. Both the phrase and the movie continue to be a part of pop culture today. MTV and other networks often run marathons of FRIDAY and its sequels NEXT FRIDAY, (2000) and FRIDAY AFTER NEXT, (2002). A fourth installment LAST FRIDAY has been delayed because of the death of John Witherspoon who portrayed the father of Craig Jones who is portrayed by Ice Cube.
