Memory is the diary that we all carry about with us*
My ninety-three-year-old mother is rapidly losing her memory due to Alzheimer’s. It is a sad process to witness. What amazes me is that she struggles to remember things like the day of the week or a TV show, but she can recall an event from my childhood.

I am a romantic at heart, always have been and always will be. I always approached my relationships with hope and a romantic view of love. I love affection. I believe showing love consistently is the magic glue. It’s a key part of any relationship.

This month sees Veterans Day (November 11) in the United States. It celebrates, honors, and thanks those who served in the United States Armed Forces. November 11 is also Remembrance Day. It honours the end of World War I and remembers all service members who died in conflict.
