The Benefits Of Reviving Your Old Stories On Vocal
Browsing Through My Vocal Library

Introduction
This is just a short piece about the benefits of reviving old stories (if you consider five years old in my case). I do treasure most of my Vocal writing and am disappointed when the Vocal Story fails to load. While I have the original text, I can't always remember the videos, pictures, links and other ephemera that I included. Also, I don't want to recreate the stories in case Vocal do get their act together and restore the failing stories.
I have raised tickets and emailed Justin several timesm but had no responses. These are two that are failing, and there are more, not just mine, and this has now been the situation for at least six months. Maybe the new upgrade will fix it, if it happens. Note, I can't embed the link but you can see them in a Vocal search:

I would love someone to tell me I am doing something wrong, but I don;t think I am.
That's enough of the complaints, and now on to the real reason for this article.
The Benefits Of Reviving Your Old Stories On Vocal
Last year, my Facebook profile was destroyed, so I had to create a new one. Since then, if I join a new group, my posts are marked as spam, unless I am a moderator or administrator, so if my posts are not released by the admins, then no one sees them. So it then becomes pointless to be a group member if I want to share my work there.
Also, when I could not post on Vocal, I started reusing old stories after backing them up by saving them to my computer, but some were so good that I just republished them, and that meant many new Vocal friends and acquaintances now get the chance to read stories of mine they would never have normally seen.
One I reshared today was this:
And in that I had a link to where I found the picture, The Reiki Cat Lady, who shares some amazing cat pics, both photographs and artwork.
Looking back through your work, you find things that you wish you hadn't forgotten, and also ideas for new things.
Conclusion
Looking back, I find work that impressed me, some that might not, some that remind me of friends and others I used to know and prompts me to get back in touch, which I usually do.

Thank you so much for reading.

I often thought about reviewing my old stuff. Seeing if I can fix them up nicely.
