What Kind of Love Do You Speak Of?
When words are shadows and feelings speak loudly

What kind of love do you speak of?
When words are only shadows,
When the heart is closed,
and the soul runs from the light
What kind of love do you speak of?
When silence speaks the loudest,
when glances hide entire worlds,
and memories fall
like leaves in autumn.
What kind of love do you speak of?
When the winds carry unspoken whispers,
When rain quietly washes away the pain,
and feelings hide behind invisible walls.
Do you speak of the love that quietly grows,
unnoticed, yet deep,
or one of the ones that sparkles in the eyes
and burns like a flame in the night?
Of love woven from memories,
that does not fade with time,
or one of the ones that brings light
and hope for tomorrow?
What kind of love do you speak of?
When time does not stop,
When the heart waits patiently,
And the soul does not cease to fight?
Love is gentle and painful in the same breath
can be salvation,
and a wound remembered deeply.
So tell me:
What kind of love do you speak of?
Of the one that stays
and quietly builds us,
or the one that runs away
and teaches us to let go?
Of the one that lights the path
and gives us the strength to move forward,
or the one we leave behind
in the shadows,
But forever in the heart?
