For all of you,

Who were betrayed,

Hurt,

Used,

And abused;

I was there once,

Falling down a dark,

Bottomless pit,

With no light

And no ending.

When you finally find the light,

It can quickly turn into night,

Making you feel as if you are

falling once more,

Into those dark depths of despair.

Remember;

You are not your trauma,

You are not the ones who deserve to be punished,

Please do not hide in the unsafe,

Foul hands of those abusers that haunt you,

Stealing your soul,

And your light.

You were born to rise,

Like the bright living flame you are,

Dance,

Sing,

Feel the sand between your toes,

And,

Let the cool waves of the sea,

Wash over your feet.

Live for today,

This moment is full of warmth,

Joy,

Love,

And happiness;

For you have risen,

From those horrible depths of despair,

Enjoy the moment,
