If I didn't stand for you
The trees would
Rigid backed, stoic barked
Givers of wood
For it was from one that
The cross was carved out and
Hands that planted the world's garden
Were pierced through, make no doubt
That if I didn't bow for you
Flowers would
vestures of beauty for grass in the wood
They know your beauty
Your garments they glow
More beautiful than blooms
That survive winter snow
Lord you know,
If I didn't raise my voice
The rocks would
Sing out Hosannah
For Nature knows You
And though man may falter
and forget his maker
No stone, no flower, no tree
Could forsake you
But as long as there's breath in my lungs
The rocks rest
And as long as there's courage in me
I will stand
As long as my beauty is your holiness
Lord Jesus,
I'll bow.
Only You know how
Worthy you truly are
But make me burn for you
As bright as a star
For you know their names
And you call them out
You know their number
Like sand, and their route
May I be like
every breath breathing
Living thing
Giving praise to my Father
Creator and King
Let creation sing
As it does
But louder still
Praise I will
For I was dust
But you breathed life into
My nostrils
I live
And now every breath
To You
Jesus
I give
You Only are Worthy
God's Living Word
Let everything that has breath
Praise the Lord.
