An old house inhaled warm air in summer and exhaled heat in winter. Residents claimed it breathed with them — calming when they were anxious, firm when they were lost. A grieving woman moved in, hoping for solitude. The walls pulsed softly each night, echoing her heartbeat. One morning she woke to find the house still. Its breath had slowed to match hers — steady, no longer trembling. She left flowers on the windowsill as thanks. The house resumed its gentle breathing, ready to echo the next weary soul who needed it.

The Cloud Shepherd
A man walked the hills guiding clouds with a long staff. Villagers thought him peculiar until drought struck. He shaped clouds into rivers and forests, coaxing them toward the thirsty fields. One evening, a storm formed too quickly. Unable to guide it, the shepherd lifted his staff and stepped into the tempest. When the sky cleared, he was gone — but the clouds now moved gently across the region, as if remembering his touch. Children said he hadn’t vanished, only become part of the weather’s breath.

Life will find a way
One cocoon twitches; my screaming must have disturbed it. It’s followed by a sound like the shaking of a cobra’s tail. A dry rattle sends a shiver down my spine. The rest of the cocoons respond the same way, as if communicating with one another; the cave fills with rattling. The glow becomes stronger as they vibrate and bathes the cave floor in an eerie blue light.

Alright, let's not fuck about - here is what you need: Ingredients: 350g self raising flour 90g butter pinch of salt tsp of baking powder 3 tbsp caster sugar (or just normal white sugar would probably be fine) 175ml milk a squeeze of lemon a drop of vanilla an egg fresh strawberries, if they're in season Extra flour Even more flour Dried fruit (I consider this completely optional and usually leave it out)
